Cost Per Day — How Konsaplan Ranks Every Recharge Plan
Cost per day is a plan’s price divided by its validity in days. It is the only fair way to compare a monthly recharge with an annual one — and it is the number behind every Konsaplan recommendation.
The formula, with real plans
| Plan | Maths | Cost per day |
|---|---|---|
| ₹349 · 28 days | 349 ÷ 28 | ₹12.5/day |
| ₹899 · 84 days | 899 ÷ 84 | ₹10.7/day |
| ₹1,899 · 365 days | 1,899 ÷ 365 | ₹5.2/day |
The ₹1,899 plan looks five times more expensive than the ₹349 plan. Per day of service, it is less than half the price. That inversion is why comparing sticker prices misleads — and why every plan card on this site carries a ₹/day chip.
How the finder uses it
The plan finder first filters plans to your actual need — keeping a SIM active, calls only, everyday data, or heavy 5G use — and your operator. Within that filtered set, plans are ranked by cost per day (for data needs, daily data is weighed first, with cost per day as the tiebreak). The verdict then shows the best plan for every duration— monthly, 84 days, 6 months and annual — because the cheapest per-day plan is not automatically the right one if its upfront price doesn’t fit your budget. The choice stays yours; the maths just makes it honest.
What cost per day doesn’t capture
Network coverage in your area, data speeds, and extras like bundled apps are real factors that a per-day price cannot measure. Konsaplan shows benefits alongside every price so you can weigh them — but it never pretends a formula can rank coverage.
Our honesty rules
Plan data is verified against official operator sources — the current stamp is 17 Jul 2026— and the verified date only moves when data is actually re-checked. Some “Recharge now” links earn Konsaplan a commission; affiliate status is not an input to ranking, ever. If a cheaper plan exists, it wins, affiliate or not.
FAQ
What is cost per day in a recharge plan?
Cost per day is the plan price divided by its validity in days. A ₹349 plan valid for 28 days costs ₹12.5 per day; a ₹1,899 plan valid for 365 days costs ₹5.2 per day.
Why not just compare plan prices?
Sticker prices hide validity. A plan that looks expensive can be the cheapest way to buy a day of service, and a cheap-looking plan can be the most expensive. Cost per day puts every plan on the same scale.
Do affiliate links change Konsaplan’s ranking?
No. Ranking is computed only from price, validity and plan benefits. Affiliate status is not an input — plans with no affiliate link rank exactly the same way.
